Okay, so none of these songs are specifically "Thanksgiving" songs. But all of them have the words "Thank You" in the title, which is something I suppose. I'm thankful for a lot of things, and I might go to the trouble of listing them here later – perhaps today, or maybe tomorrow. But for now, I want to thank you – whomever you are – for taking the time to indulge me and actively cooperate in my insanity daily, weekly, or however often you visit this blog. If you didn't consistently check out what I have to say, or what music I'm posting, or revel in the things that fascinate me, I would probably still blog, but not nearly as often. Thank you, Loyal Readers. And Happy Thanksgiving to you all! ~ JH

Yep, I've still got a few more "Opposites" music posts to get out of my system. At the very least, there's this one, another one that's ready to go, and one more I'm working on right now. You'll find a pretty good mix of songs here. I'll bet you're familiar with a few of them. You may even know all the words to one or two. So go ahead, hear 'em while they're hot, since I slaved over 'em for so long. Or something like that. ~ JH

This is another one of those I-heard-a-song-on-the-radio-that-I-really-liked-and-wanted-to-find-a-way-to-fit-it-into-a-music-post kind of posts. It turned out to be a good idea, as I was able to find a good number of songs about not only princes (the first song in this list inspired the post), but princesses, kings, and queens as well. One of these was actually the theme song of a TV show, and two of them are from Disney animated movies. The rest are from...wherever. Enjoy? ~ JH
1) Spin Doctors ~ "Two Princes"
2) Queen ~ "Princes Of The Universe" (If I were including artists with "royalty" names, this would be a two-for-one!)

4) Aladdin Cast ~ "Prince Ali"
5) Adriana Caselotti (as Snow White) ~ "Someday My Prince Will Come"

I'd love to be able to say – "You asked for it, and here it is!" – but who am I kidding? I'm probably more excited about these random collections of songs connected only by a common word in the titles than any of you, dear readers, are. That being said, I'm even fonder of this collection of songs than I was of the "Give" songs I posted last time around. There are songs for pretty much all musical tastes here. Unless you like reggae. There's no reggae. No rap, either, for that matter. Come to think of, there's also no blues music here. Well, let's just say there are songs for almost all musical tastes. Enjoy? ~ JH
